Harry Potter; The Amazing Journey

Harry Potter; The Amazing Journey

When Harry Potter was eleven years old he got his letter from Hogwarts, and was swept along on his amazing journey. In this chapter of his marvelous story, he is fifteen years old, and is entering his fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is faced with challenges, and is shown what the true meaning of friendship is.

When thinking about the theme of this story, I’d say the theme is courage and friendship. Harry’s friends were with him the entire time, even if he didn’t want them there for their own protection. With courage, Harry’s friends went through all of the challenges of the Department of Mystery’s, even though all of them got injured along the way. Also, when he was being attacked by Dementors, he produced his Patronus even though he was terrified. The point of this is to show we should be true to our friends, even if we’re in danger ourselves, and to show how true friends act.

After theme comes plot. In the plot of this book, Harry is a fifteen year old wizard in training, faced with tasks, that no grown witch or wizard should have to confront. Even his friends are faced with horrible challenges. One of his friends has the cruciatus curse placed on them. This curse feels like thousands of red hot knifes being pushed into your body, and your bones feel like there going to burst. Harry even has to watch people die. And, on top of all of that, the dark lord (Lord Voldemort) is invading his mind.

All in all, this book was amazing. It had the perfect balance of suspense, action, comedy, and tragedy anyone looks for in a book. I would give this book five out of five stars. It shows how mundane even wizards and witches are. I hope whoever is reading this will read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Plus, with all of the reasons I’ve just given you to read it, you’d be mad not to.

When thinking about this Harry Potter book, he realizes what friendship really is. We should all be so lucky to have friends like Ron and Hermione, his best friends (who are also magical). I doesn’t matter if your magical or mundane, you don’t have to be a wizard to appreciate the spell cast by Harry Potter.
